In this role, you will design and develop sophisticated robotic instruments that provide robust clinical value. You will be a vital member of a product development team, conducting various assignments in collaboration with other design engineers, manufacturing engineers, designers, and multi-functional partners.
What You'll Do:
Design and iterate product concepts quickly and effectively via prototype builds, laboratory testing, and/or computer simulations.
Support development of design requirements and their translation into design concepts and solutions, based on user needs and product function.
Develop test methods, design/build fixtures and systems for testing.
Generate/process/analyze advanced engineering data to meet design spec's.
Commercialize new products via the design control process, applying good documentation practices, spanning from feasibility to V&V through launch.
Participate in detailed reviews of designs, test methods, requirements, spec's, etc. and effectively communicate technical information in written/verbal forms.
