Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Masters in Education Technology, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or a related field. At least 3 years of progressive leadership experience in higher education, with a focus on curriculum development, instructional design, or academic technology.

Demonstrated experience in leading faculty development initiatives and implementing innovative teaching and learning strategies. Proven ability to manage complex projects and initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.

Position Overview The Associate Dean of Learning Experience, in collaboration with the Dean of Learning Innovation, is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and relentless improvement of Calbright's competency-based education direct assessment learning experience. The Associate Dean will lead initiatives that enhance curriculum design, instructional technology, and faculty development to support excellence in online design and student engagement. This position reports directly to the Dean of Learning Innovation and works closely with faculty, department chairs, curriculum and assessment, faculty, and instructional design faculty teams to ensure that our educational offerings meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.
