None / Not Required Raytheon Intelligence and Information Services (IIS) Cyber Security & Special Missions (CSM) Raytheon Cyber Services (RCS) has an immediate opening for a Cyber Specialist.
The successful candidate will provide immediate incident response support building out a Security Operations Center (SOC) and its tools used by all stakeholders of the SOC.
Minimum 6 months of relevant experience This on site position supports a 24x7x365 Security Operations Center.
Responsibilities will include: Provides day-to-day technical support to executives and office members Provides setup, operation, maintenance and repair of equipment, such as computers, telephones and mobile device equipment.
Provides support as System Administrator on unclassified network.
Minimum 6 months of relevant experience across the following: o Windows desktop installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting (Windows 7 and Windows 10) o Planning and implementing patches of Windows servers o Performing disaster recovery activities including tape backups, rotation, destruction and inventory o Monitoring and troubleshooting using system logs o Producing documentation, both technical and process/procedure o Interfacing with senior and executive level management in support of desktop, voice, telecom issues.
o Administering hardware inventory o Software license management o Providing technical support to users Proficiency using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Understanding of Microsoft Windows Active Directory, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds Basic Networking knowledge Excellent written and verbal communications skills Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity Self-motivated and able to meet established deadlines Excellent analytical and problem solving skills Able to work within a team and foster teamwork and trust from both internal and external customers Build tool configurations for compliance industry best practices; Develop and enhance methodologies and supporting operational documentation to create and maintain standard operating procedures; Develop metrics for reporting functions; Develop standard toolkits and tool development repositories, and custom content based on customer needs; Perform day-to-day functions (operations/ maintenance) on cyber engineering tools; Provide reporting and metrics of ongoing tasks; Participate in customer calls and meetings on a regular basis; This position will place a heavy emphasis on executive and customer level support and the Security Operations Center., proactively supporting key meetings and events, and immediately responding to critical conference room issues.
This position will work under general supervision of the CISO.
Work will be reviewed for soundness of technical judgment and adequacy.
