Associate & Customer Engagement (Small Business Card)

SUMMARY

In this exciting role with the Small Business Card Chief of Staff and Business Development Team, you will help to grow our business and serve small business customers by:

  • Working alongside the chief of staff to ensure SBC has a celebrated customer-centered culture marked by: a cohesive leadership team, clear priorities, informed and engaged associates, and a commitment to being well-managed at every step.

  • Creating legendary customer experiences across the U.S. that build potential and existing key relationships -- and adhere to the highest regulatory monitoring standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your time and attention will generally be split across the below responsibilities.

  • You will be working alongside the CoS to:

  • Plan and coordinate space management across SBC (includes working across the business to align regularly and plan together).

  • Track closely with People Teams to help build SBC's culture (represent team at mtgs, raise key issues, and work with the chief of staff to ensure good information flow and support of these important efforts).

  • Assist in the production of SBC's twice yearly Town Halls, as well as other key meetings and celebrations throughout the year.

  • Support SBC's Roadmapping efforts as needed. Build awareness of current priorities and the roadmapping process in order to help align efforts across the business.

  • Help solve unplanned business needs and issues that may arise.

  • You also will be building and executing successful engagement plans with both existing & potential Spark Business customers. Event coordination includes:

  • Collaborating across the Small Business Card team to ensure alignment around client events.

  • Planning and executing (on-site) events (including working with hotels, planning catering, managing room lists and budgets, space set-up and AV needs).

  • Activating quick solves to issues throughout the entire event process.

  • Following regulatory compliance to prevent risk.

  • Managing post event follow up (coordinating for continued alignment across the team on client next steps, gathering lessons learned for continuous improvement, measuring client satisfaction, etc.)

  • Flexibility for Business travel (required 30-50% of time) including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree

  • At least 3 years of experience in one of the following fields: Sales: Project Management, Event Production or Communications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree and/or certificate in a related field

  • Experience in credit card regulation

  • Google Suite proficiency

  • Ability to do light design work using platforms like Photoshop, Canva, Snagit or similar

  • Experience with event registration systems

Manager – Executive Communications Lead, Card & Small Business Tech As an Executive Communications Lead, you will be a part of a talented team who brings the organizational strategy to life within Card & Small Business Tech. You will be responsible for executive-level communications and strategic storytelling to support the leaders and initiatives within our organization. We want a confident communications leader who is obsessed with inspiring others through storytelling.
