Job Description Summary

Assists in providing objective, impartial and unbiased opinions about the value of real property for a variety of clients and variety of intended users. The successful candidate performs a variety of functions working under the supervision of a Senior Appraiser, including comprehensive and detailed market research, report writing and creating complex financial models.

Job Description

  • Research comparable sales, listings and rentals

  • Assist in the construction of financial models including discounted cash flow

  • Research benchmark rates of return including cap rates and discount rates

  • Assist in the preparation of appraisals and other consulting reports that can assist the client with decision making

  • Inspect property and interview market participants along with a Senior Appraiser

You must be highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task effectively.</p><p><br></p><p>Sells Community homes on a commission basis.</p><p><strong>General Accountabilities</strong></p><ul> <li>Studies Community listings, becoming familiar with properties for sale and surrounding market.</li> <li>Meets with prospective clients and solicits listings.</li> <li>Accompanies prospects to Community sites, quotes purchase price, describes features, and discusses conditions of sale or terms of lease.</li> <li>Draws up purchase contracts, leases, and negotiates offers on Community.</li> <li>Assists buyer and seller in obtaining pertinent information or services such as finance, maintenance, repair, or obtaining an appraisal.</li> <li>Obtains pictures and measurements of rooms to include in newspaper advertisement and booklets listing description of Community.</li> <li>Inspects Community to determine if repairs are needed and notifies owner.</li> <li>Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.</li> <li>*The Company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>$12-13 hourly plus commissions ($50,000-$70,000 earnings potential) plus medical/dental options, 2 weeks paid vacation, 1 week sick time, 2 personal days, standard holidays along with an additional floating holiday to be used at your discretion. </p> Cal-Am Properties, Inc.
