The Associate Creative Director (ACD) we're looking for has an art direction background. You'll also need awesome digital chops. That means social, display, native, carousels, scrollers, video-you get the idea. You'll help produce the content as well with our in-house production team and content studio. You won't just be working on digital though. You'll do a bit of everything here creating integrated campaigns for a wide variety of clients. That includes print, OOH, experiential, you name it. Lead and perform the detailed art direction and content design of integrated campaigns through all stages of development.
Understand and articulate creative strategy as it relates to the client's business objectives and its application in integrated campaigns.
Develop and present a strong and credible creative rationale that supports integrated creative ideas to an audience of executives, agency partners and consumers.
Create iterative ads within a campaign for testing and then revise the work based on analytics and performance.
Lead presentations to senior client leadership.
Collaborate with senior creatives, content directors and media strategists for concepting across a wide variety of media.
Lead concept, visual creative development and presentation of new business development efforts.
Provide clear direction to copywriters, art directors and designers.
Help designers develop as creative thinkers and efficient production artists.
Provide creative direction on assignments at the CD's direction.
Facilitate and orchestrate communication between the creative team and client.
Ensure creative scope, schedule and budget are accurate.
Develop and approve creative estimates and ensure high quality, profitable execution of creative deliverables.
Coordinate with the creative director in projections for, and assignment of, creative team members to client projects.
Maintain an awareness of status and project deliverables of group members' project work.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in concepting, directing design and producing major marketing, communication and advertising campaigns.
Experience leading creative teams with professional direct client contact.
A proven advisor to clients and internal teams and a leader in fostering productive dialogue toward achieving the client's business and marketing goals.
An excellent eye for art direction and a proven ability to apply it across a wide variety of communication channels.
Strong conceptual skills, including the ability to develop integrated ideas that transcend different media and connect with very specific audiences.
Deep knowledge of advertising, data-driven content campaigns, performance marketing, digital tactics, graphic design, information design, interaction design and typography.
Ability to judge quality and effectiveness of copywriting, content architecture, scriptwriting and presentation content.
Experience with current ad tech; skilled in integrating overall design and message with digital platforms and websites.
Bachelor's Degree in design, fine arts or marketing communications preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and mentor creative team members.
