About You:
Collaborative, enthusiastic writer/ACD who is looking for an opportunity to create innovative and engaging creative for Shutterfly. This person is skilled at bringing concepts to life through execution in various marketing channels and platforms. Should have a portfolio that demonstrates experience creating campaign ideas, ability to deftly write in the tone appropriate for each client and work that creatively solves problems. Ideal candidate has production experience across a range of budgets and platforms. We dig people who are proactive, have a strong attention to detail and are interested in helping make Shutterfly's work the most enviable in the category. You should have the ability to own projects through final execution, including creating strong relationships with key partners. Should be a writer who is comfortable with technology and can work in a variety of programs or is open to learn new ones (we're figma friendly). Be collaborative and able to work with individuals and larger teams. Bonus points for experience in retail/ecommerce.

About the Role:
This ACD/writer works within the Shutterfly Creative Campaign Team to collaboratively brainstorm, conceptualize, and execute key projects across channels as identified. This role collaborates closely with our Integrated Marketing team to deliver thoughtful, inspired solutions that engage customers and lead to clicks and conversions. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively from concept to execution-define and bring to life the creative vision, bringing groundbreaking creative ideas and solutions to the table
Work comfortably with greater Shutterfly Brand, Marketing, Channel and Merchandise Partners
Strong writing skills - understanding of tone and brand personality. Be able to write and concept appropriately for different channels.
Active participation in project kickoffs, asking insightful questions to gain detail, clarification and alignment with Business Partners
Lead innovative thinking, championing new ways to make an impact in our categories
Confidently present ideas and concepts to Creative Directors and internal clients (Marketing & Business Partners) with a spirit of collaboration
Juggle a mix of long-term and quick-turnaround projects, often with overlapping priorities and urgency
Show professionalism in all aspects of your daily tasks, including taking feedback and edits with grace and positivity
Be self-motivated
Continually adopt new tools and practices as the work evolves
Manage work tasks, functions and time sheet using department's project management tool
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree. Bonus point for portfolio school or industry training.
7+ years' experience with a minimum 1 year within retail/ecommerce preferred
Portfolio to showcase your thinking - looking for campaign ideas that feel right for the brands
Agency experience preferred
Track record working with loved brands
Understanding and knowledge of advertising technology and marketing trends
Ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Be self-motivated and a thoughtful, yet quick problem solver
Patience and infectious, positive attitude with a collaborative approach
Low ego, balanced with confidence and a healthy sense of personal drive, ambition and ownership
A great attitude and flexibility towards business and its ever-changing, sometimes ambiguous nature
