Every image tells a storyand every story needs a brilliant designer. Javelin needs anexperienced ACD designer and visual storyteller to help anchor our expanding creative practice.

The ACD is considered a star player at Javelin,and in this role you'll lead art direction and partner with copywritingfrom concept to execution for our agency's largest accounts. You're a new biz veteran, love the theatrics of a great client presentation and take pride in mentoring up-and-coming talent.

What you'll do:

  • Lead design responsibility in creating original, culturally vibrant brand engagement and customer communications: from top-level campaign concepts to social, direct, and everything in between. You will have your finger on the pulse ofpop culture as well as the latest trends in advertising and technology.

  • Inspire clients and coworkers with innovative creative ideas that are grounded in business strategy and insights.

  • Support creative leadership and partner with other ACDs in leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary creative team to redefine what it means to have a great customer experience.

  • Demonstrate strong conceptual skills that add substance and value to the work beyond the art, and communicate ideas and messaging rationale to other members of the creative or account management teams.

  • Build strong client relationships and earn the trust needed to do great work.

  • Actively participate in the creative process, while empowering your team to own the work.

  • Apply strategic thinking to every concept, design and copy decision.

What you've got:

  • 7+ yearsofexperience designing and concepting across a range of marketing channels (ad campaigns, social, email, DM, banners,webpages, etc.)and the killer book to prove it.

  • Familiarity with CRM concepts and data-informed creative.

  • Understanding of video editing and visual storytelling.

  • You know your way around a new biz pitch and can present like a champ.

  • Exceptional conceptual and storytelling talent.

  • Expert understanding of creative considerations across the entire channel mix.

  • Self-driven with the ability to take the reins when necessary, while also comfortable taking and giving direction.

  • Ability to thoughtfully and persuasively articulate creative concepts to cross-functional teams, both internal and external.

  • Confidence to lead the conversation and the soft touch to guide clients and partners into uncharted waters.

  • Ability to inspire and motivate while prizing different perspectives without ego.

  • Desire to partner with great people and build something amazing.

Job Description: Manage Virtual Meeting activities in accordance with digital events and audience engagement strategy and through application of industry best practices. This role aligns with the McKesson 2021 initiative to increase cost-savings and avoidance by leveraging the current webcast platform, INXPO, minimizing costs associated with conventional meetings. Design, specify and manage installation of integrated systems. Responsibilities Include: * Identify and address technical or logistical impediments to delivering scope of work * Identify specific requirements for project, including but not limited to: test equipment, specialized tools, rigging support * Test house audio or video processing systems software required for system functionality where applicable. * Test integrated systems and perform troubleshooting when needed * Coordinate with Senior Technical Director and Event Staff to assist with securing the necessary personnel for project execution * Responsible for continued enhancement of the Virtual Meetings program. * Collaborate with departments to develop content strategy for the Virtual Meetings platform (INXPO). * Manage participation, provide support and training for participants on technology engagement tools and platforms. * Manage and update the INXPO/McKesson video portal/ library. * Capture and record cost-savings and cost-avoidance on related events in Cvent. * Manage pre- and post-event analytics, including registration, engagement, cost, benefits and attendee feedback. * Provide feedback and after-action reports for each event as it relates to technology and audience experiences. * Provide post event metrics and analytics on audience engagement and participation to measure effectiveness of content strategy * Develop and maintain the Virtual Meetings Toolkit as a resource and check list for strategic business partners or room leads. * Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technology; participate in webcasts or digital events to explore best practices; implement process improvements as needed. * Provide onsite Virtual Meetings management; including but not limited to oversight and customer support to users/staff. * Responsible for getting approvals for expenses or costs required for the successful execution of the webcast. * Responsible for recording and monitoring the meeting's budget. * Provide updates during check-in meetings with the BU Manager * Inform and update internal clients of any changes and/or enhancements within the INXPO platform * Ability to setup and breakdown stage equipment (i.e stage lighting, speakers, video distribution systems, and stage) as needed per event. * Ability to operate various arrays of production equipment (i.e cameras, digital and analog audio boards, AV production switching systems). * Background in computer networking and troubleshooting Macintosh and Windows computers. * Other duties as needed.
