The Associate Counsel will partner with in-house employment counsel in drafting employment contracts and employment related agreements. Responsibilities will also include:
Provide advice to the Company's HR professionals and business leaders on compliance and other employment related legal issues.
Work closely with the Company's HR professionals to develop best practices and limit risk on employment related matters, including employee recruitment, compensation, discipline, leaves of absence, reductions in force, and other employee relations matters.
Partner with in-house litigation counsel on employment related litigations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
JD with 3-5 years of law firm or corporate legal experience
Employment law experience required
Employment contract drafting experience is highly preferred
Litigation Experience highly preferred but not required
Strong ability to build collaborative relationships with HR and business leaders
Excellent computer skills including MS Word and Excel required
Exceptionally strong analytical ability, communication skills, and work-ethic
