About the position
As the Associate, Corporate Finance you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with key corporate financing partnerships. This position will report to the Director, Corporate Finance.
Develop and maintain relationships with key strategic financing parties and provide regular updates to existing investor and lender base.
Lead and / or support due diligence processes for capital raising efforts and amendments to key corporate partnerships and financings.
Develop and manage corporate valuation tools to track business unit and overall firm valuation, cash flow potential and tax positions.
Assist in coordinating with cross functional teams to maintain and sync cash/tax forecasting efforts.
Assist in coordinating company-wide efforts to manage investment approval forecasting, processes and tracking.
Maintain market intelligence and provide updates to senior management regarding transactions and structures being executed in the market.
Support key strategic initiatives through market research, bespoke model building and creation of presentation materials for senior management.
Work with development, engineering, asset management and other parts of the firm to identify and implement key process improvements.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Engineering.
1-3 years of experience of corporate finance or investment banking.
Strong MS Excel financial modeling skills, with two to three years of demonstrable experience developing and managing complex financial models.
Familiarity with project financing transactions and documentation.
Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and to meet deadlines and complete time-sensitive duties as assigned.
Ability to use discretion in handling confidential information.
