About the position

As the Associate, Corporate Finance you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with key corporate financing partnerships. This position will report to the Director, Corporate Finance.


  • Develop and maintain relationships with key strategic financing parties and provide regular updates to existing investor and lender base.

  • Lead and / or support due diligence processes for capital raising efforts and amendments to key corporate partnerships and financings.

  • Develop and manage corporate valuation tools to track business unit and overall firm valuation, cash flow potential and tax positions.

  • Assist in coordinating with cross functional teams to maintain and sync cash/tax forecasting efforts.

  • Assist in coordinating company-wide efforts to manage investment approval forecasting, processes and tracking.

  • Maintain market intelligence and provide updates to senior management regarding transactions and structures being executed in the market.

  • Support key strategic initiatives through market research, bespoke model building and creation of presentation materials for senior management.

  • Work with development, engineering, asset management and other parts of the firm to identify and implement key process improvements.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Engineering.

  • 1-3 years of experience of corporate finance or investment banking.

  • Strong MS Excel financial modeling skills, with two to three years of demonstrable experience developing and managing complex financial models.

  • Familiarity with project financing transactions and documentation.

  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and to meet deadlines and complete time-sensitive duties as assigned.

  • Ability to use discretion in handling confidential information.
