We have an opening for a full-time attorney to join an in-house legal department for a company that provides post-payment recovery services in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will support our recovery operations and must be able to handle and prioritize a variety of tasks and interface with multiple departments, as well as, external clients.
Adapts and executes functional or departmental business plans and contributes to the development of organizational strategies.
Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges/ regulatory issues. Decisions are guided by functional strategies and priorities.
May include international accountability; and may include some global accountability.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Background in either personal injury, worker's compensation and/or health care subrogation.
Experience handling Mass Tort claims or subrogation, ERISA litigation, Medicare/ Medicaid subrogation.
Prior experience working in an in-house claims environment is a plus.
JD from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in at least one state is a must.
