Additionally, the Studio produces the comedy anthology series "The Guest Book" for TBS; OUR CARTOON PRESIDENT and YOUR HONOR for SHOWTIME as well as "A Higher Loyalty," a miniseries based on former FBI Director James Comey's memoir.

DESCRIPTION:

Division Overview

The Global Franchise Management group is responsible for establishing and maintaining a cohesive Star Trek franchise presence cross-company.

Role Details:

The Global Franchise Management team is looking for a creative and capable Associate Content Producer to produce entertainment segments from behind-the-scenes, news stories, guest segments and more. This content will live on StarTrek.com and its social media platforms. The role requires the ability to juggle projects and multi-task under tight deadlines. The right candidate must have a real love for brand extension and a creative knack for pitching/producing stories that people want to watch and share.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Produce quality video/audio elements that extend the brand identity

  • Identify, pitch and report out stories building buzz in entertainment and pop culture

  • Build in-video elements and graphics

  • Re-package segments for multiple platforms in different styles as directed

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements:

  • 2 years+ journalism experience in Broadcast, Cable or Digital

  • Strong research, writing and copy-editing skills with ability to turn content around quickly

  • Sophisticated knowledge of social media and the digital entertainment news space

  • Video-editing experience

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed, including event coverage

Preferred:

  • History of creating compelling video content for platforms including YouTube, Instagram and/or Facebook

  • Proficiency with graphic systems or camera expertise

  • History of creating compelling video content for platforms including YouTube, Instagram and/or Facebook

  • Experience covering live events: Red carpets, events, Comic Cons, etc.

The Producer is the front facing member of production, ultimately responsible for scheduling and tracking large portions of the game or entire ports. Through their leadership & support, they ensure the team's ability to successfully develop the game on time and at quality. The Producer should have experience with at least one development cycle.
