This position has the responsibility and authority to create, implement, and finalize change orders and make system changes as needed for all product related data.

The Restorative Therapies Group develops life-restoring therapies and healthcare solutions that span the care continuum; integrating technologies and applying clinical and economic evidence to increase patient access, improve efficiency of procedures and deliver successful patient outcomes.

A Day in the Life

  • Create, implements, and finalizes change requests and change orders.

  • Updates various formats of documents in Word/Excel/Power Point, per the change order.

  • Performs files maintenance of Bill of Materials, part drawings, change request /change orders, process alerts, and other customer documents using PLM and ERP systems.

  • Coordinates change order status with customer and implements effective dates.

  • As a project team member, ensures projects are in compliance with document control policies and procedures and established Configuration Management principles; creates and maintains the Design History File and Device Master Record in the PLM system.

  • Ensures data accuracy and completeness of documentation, including logs, reports, and distribution.

  • Maintains and tracks product configuration and manufacturing/customer requirements.

  • Facilitates the interface, including the use of the configuration review board, between program managers, engineering, manufacturing, and materials to ensure appropriate changes are documents.

  • Support continuous improvement efforts to streamline departmental and organizational needs.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.

  • Coordinates modification records for management control.

  • Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor.

  • Prepares reports of change effect on overall product.

  • Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.

  • Ensures that customer requirements are implemented and reviews change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree. A degree in engineering, business, information systems, or health sciences is preferred.


  • 0-2 years of experience in documentation management.


  • Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Strong interpersonal communication skill.

  • General office skills: telephones, data entry, word processing.

  • High capacity to multi-task

  • Energized and self-actuated

  • Experience with PLM and / or ERP systems

Job Description Summary Education Bachelor of Science Degree or higher Preferred area of study: Biology or scientific related field Experience 15 or more years in a GMP environment with an emphasis on managing QA teams. Demonstrated ability to lead GMP operations, make sound decisions regarding evaluation of GMP compliance, and leadership abilities in the management of QA oversight.
