Summary of Role
As an Associate, you will work beside some of the industry's top consultants while you develop cutting edge technical knowledge and skills, as well as project and client management capabilities.
You will have immediate exposure to real client assignments, which will draw on your business acumen and strong work ethic as well as your ability to collect and analyze data, draw conclusions and present results. These experiences will help build your technical knowledge and and overall consulting expertise while you benefit from structured learning interventions.
Our projects range in scope from specific solutions (e.g., base pay program design, job evaluation, incentive design, pay-level benchmarking, goal-setting methodology development, performance management program design, custom surveys) to broad cross-LOB engagements such as total rewards strategy and total rewards optimization.
Perform industry and financial research related to compensation strategy and design
Perform analyses of competitive compensation levels
Develop pay structures and analyze the mix between fixed and variable pay
Learn incentive plan design
Conceptual; ability to go beyond the details and see the big picture
Analytical; able to draw conclusions from data in a logical, systematic way
Organized; able to work and think in a methodical and orderly way; Ability to carry out well-defined assignments according to established guidelines and requires minimal supervision
Results-driven; focused on achieving results that promote business success; ability to manage workload efficiently to fulfill commitments in a timely manner

Team player; Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Communicator; displays strong oral, written and public speaking skills
A leader; proactively takes initiative
2-4 years of compensation analyst experience with a genuine interest in this field
Bachelors or Masters degree in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics or any other major with significant quantitative course work, and a strong academic record
Strong Excel skills are required; Word and PowerPoint experience is a plus
Familiarity with SEC filings and with Standard & Poor's Capital IQ a plus
