Associate CNO Developer

Overview

BigBear.ai is seeking enthusiastic CNO Programmers with detective skills to tackle the riddles of cyber security. This position will support a customer full time on site in Maryland.

Working on a diverse team you will use low-level programming and reverse engineering develop tools and test the limits of operating systems and programs to better prepare our technology for the predictable and unpredictable attacks of the adversary.

What you will do

• Develop tools to automate security testing and enable more efficient discovery and resolution of security problems.

• Apply deep knowledge of application attack vectors and mitigation techniques.

• Demonstrate strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a small team setting.

• Have regular interaction with product users to replicate and fix flaws in the initial design.

• Integrate with the overall frameworks and understand the entire end-to-end system.

• Work closely with customers and teammates to understand ever-changing requirements and develop documentation pertinent to operating and supporting developed software and techniques.

What you need to have

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a technical field and 0 to 2 years of experience; 6 to 8 years with no degree

• Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS with Polygraph

• Minimum one year of experience using programming and scripting languages such as C, C++, Python, Assembly and Shell Script.

• Minimum one year of experience developing Windows or UNIX applications

• One year of development experience may be substituted with relevant academic experience

What we'd like you to have

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and 2 to 5 years of software or low level development experience

• Visual Studio, windbg, and Assembly experience

• Familiarity with computer networking protocols and devices, operating system internals, and computer system architectures

• Knowledge of security standards, security controls, software technology and software security

• Experience in reversing and debugging in real-time using virtual or physical debuggers

• Familiarity with Subversion

• Professional or Academic Network Programming experience

• Knowledge of Mobile Operating Systems
