Job Description:

  • Interfaces with customers to resolve 1st and 2nd tier/escalated customer service issues.

  • Investigates, analyzes, coordinates and tracks moderately complex customer issues.

  • Conducts research as needed.

  • Escalates issues for action as appropriate to more senior or specialized staff for immediate action.

  • Creates and maintains logs, reports, records and files.

  • Makes proactive calls to determine issues requiring close attention, identifies problems and works through to resolution.

  • May interface with offshore call center to answer questions on process or specialized situations.

  • May perform order fulfillment. Receives orders, reconciles information, tracks on spreadsheets, and follows up with customers.

  • May prepare customer billings, answer questions about billing, and coordinate resolution of billing issues with collections and/or other departments.

  • Performs other duties as assigned, such as special projects.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Typically requires 2+ years related experience (college education may count for related experience)

  • Requires general knowledge of the organization, products and customer service activities

  • Proficient MS Office skills

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Good customer service skills

  • Basic math skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and remain flexible to changing schedules and demands

  • Ability to understand, respond and resolve a wide range of customer issues

You will: As an Ecommerce Client Services Intern, you will work with the Client Care team to support Pitney Bowes clients across Global Cross-Border, Parcel and Fulfillment services to deliver a wide variety of vital support activities. You will be supporting an end-to-end global ecommerce solution that can handle all facets of enterprise logistics, fulfillment as well as cross-border logistics and everything in between. Our solutions reduce the challenges associated with domestic and international Ecommerce and help retailers grow their business. Your internship with Pitney Bowes will help you gain cross-functional working experience by collaborating with Operations, Transportation, Postal team, Client Success, Marketing, Client Success, Professional Services, Technical Support and customers. * Provide support through tracking, reporting and learnings of solution offerings. * Participate in gathering requirements, determining root cause and issue resolution and documenting outcomes. * Gather and synthesize research on ecommerce, retail, use cases, and clients. * Assemble existing materials and author new materials to support enablement activities for sales and pre-sales. * Assist with performing competitive analysis. * Execute "information output" focused on existing client data and product-use. * Engage in handoffs from Client Success team in support of client tactical business needs.
