Essential Functions and Primary Duties

• Under direct supervision, provides support to internal teams and agencies

• Conduct billing audits to ensure clients are being billed timely and accurately based on services

• Conduct client audits to review data for deficiencies or errors

• Input data into software within required deadlines accurately

• Record necessary changes/updates as appropriate

• Ensure all internal controls and procedures are followed for accuracy

• Assist team with customer service needs according to commitments and standards set forth by the department

• Work to understand new department processes, procedures and/or programs

• Effectively operate all department equipment

• Assist internal and external clients with requests and problems in a timely manner

• Additional responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Billing or Finance Experience

• Analytical skills are necessary for interpreting billing data, identifying trends, and generating reports

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• 1-2 years of relevant work experience in the insurance industry.

• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.

• Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise.

• Proficient use of applicable technology.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.
