The Associate Chief Clinical Officer (s) (ACCO) for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Pediatric Specialties will be responsible for oversight and surveillance of clinical operations related to ambulatory care within Michigan Medicine programs related to Obstetrics, Gynecology and Pediatric Medical and Surgical Specialties. There will be a physician leader termed Ambulatory Care Clinical Chief (ACCC) for each of the following areas:
Pediatric Medical Specialties
Pediatric Surgical Specialties
The ACCO(s) will work closely with the Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) and the Associate Chief Administrative Officer (ACAO) to provide triad leadership for the programs. She/he will directly oversee Ambulatory Care Clinical Chiefs (ACCC) in the broad areas listed above. ACCC's primary responsibility is to provide operational leadership related to all clinical processes, systems, and practices focused on improving safety, quality, timeliness, financial stewardship, and personnel development in the programs across the health system.
