Associate Business Information Analyst

Position Description

• Extract and integrate data from databases or other sources via Structured Query Language (TSQL) to develop, create, and maintain sales metrics and management reports.

• Analyze sales data and participate in activities to model, write, implement, communicate, and process commission plans and quotas.

• Make recommendations to plan components based on overall business strategy and compensation goals.

• Calculate and administer commission payouts including distribution of commission statements within specified deadlines for assigned teams.

• Track performance per quarter to present results to management.

• Research and resolve questions from the Field Implementation team.

• Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and uncover areas for improvement.

• Provide and support ad-hoc reporting and analysis, as requested.

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or Accounting.

• Minimum of one year of experience in a business information and intelligence role.

• Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge to create and maintain dashboards.

• Experience with SQL programming, Crystal, and other report writing tools.

• Present and explain complex concepts or calculations to management.

• Self-starter who is motivated to learn new skills and tools.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.

• Extremely organized with strong time-management skills and ability and willingness to meet deadlines.

• Build and maintain strong, collaborative, and professional relationships with others.

Preferred

The following skills and attributes are preferred:

• Proficient in Python, Power BI, Power Automate, Microsoft Forms, and Visual Basic Analysis (VBA).
