The Government Investor Services team is seeking an Transaction Manager to contribute to best in class real estate brokerage that differentiates JLL and builds and maintains a competitive advantage in the marketplace through market expertise, analysis, and thought leadership. The candidate will have primary responsibility for supporting a national brokerage account focused on federally leased assets.   • Provide active support and assist in the management of lease pursuits involving government agencies on behalf a specific client, including review and analysis of lease financials and proposals packages.

  • Participate in client meetings, as required.

  • Act a primary day-to-day contact on execution of brokerage efforts on behalf of the client

  • Respond to requests and develop materials for the client (e.g., lease comparisons, market overviews, prospect or client presentations) and coordinate information with other departments and brokers as needed.

  • Maintain and routinely update pipeline reports for the client using View the Space (VTS)

  • Assist senior brokerage professionals through the negotiation of government lease terms on behalf of the landlord client

  • Perform market surveys, data analysis, financial models and other deliverables on behalf of the client.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate or related field

  • At least 4 years of direct experience with commercial real estate leases involving the US General Services Administration (GSA)

  • Proficiency in the GSA procurement process including abstracting leases, present value analysis and Request for Lease Proposal preparation.

  • DC, VA and/or MD Real estate license required

  • Strong financial and analytical ability with solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task

  • Possess excellent Excel skills with experience analyzing commercial real estate lease transactions

  • Knowledge of government real estate process and civics Ability to adapt and prioritize, meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Responsive and client-first attitude with the ability to effectively and professionally meet client expectations and positively represent the firm

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners.

  • A desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment

  • Willingness to travel throughout the continental US in conjunction with transactional pursuits

  • Maintain confidentiality, utilize judgment, and work with minimal supervision
