Responsibilities

The Associate Brand Manager will help support the Tropicana business. Reporting into the VP/GM, the ABM will be responsible for P&L management, forecasting, and annual planning. The Associate Brand Manager will also be responsible for assisting in strategic planning of new innovations and line extensions in the future, as well as driving top line and productivity gains to drive margin expansion. Other responsibilities include:

  • Help drive sales alignment on go-to-market, innovation sell-in, distribution, pricing, and promotional activities to achieve profitable growth

  • Help drive alignment of key business elements including pricing strategy, active SKU management, and category management / assortment optimization

  • Support Tropicana team in their collaboration with Sales and Demand Generation COEs to drive space planning, distribution, and outlet level look of success goals

  • Support shopper marketing and media teams in executing top customer plans

  • Lead ongoing customer conquest opportunities that generate impactful financial result; lead risk & opportunity assessment

  • Drive integrated, top-line and productivity driven gross margin expansion plans through collaboration with Demand Generation/RGM, Sales and Supply Chain teams

  • Helping develop annual operating plan and strategic plan

  • Tackle ambiguous problems to determine and prioritize business strategies

  • Project Management of critical Juice cross-functional initiatives as needed

Professional Experience / Requirements:

  • Undergraduate Degree, MBA preferred

  • 2+ years CPG marketing experience

  • Must be located in Chicago, IL or willing to relocate to Chicago, IL for the duration of employment

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing, organizational, and analytical skills to gain alignment across multiple stakeholders.

  • Proven track record of driving tactical execution with strong in-market success

  • Ability to drive strong storytelling through data both in-person as well as written for leadership sell-in and updates

  • Exceptional project management/execution skills to meet aggressive deliverables.

  • Strong analytical and financial management skills (P&Ls, margin analysis, Comms)

  • Working directly with sales on customer collaboration of brand execution

  • Demonstrated ability to implement short- and long-term strategies to support organizational operation and transformation

  • Experience with IRI or Nielsen syndicated data required. Experience with Mintel, Numerator, or other consumer insights platforms preferred.

  • Tackle ambiguous problems to determine and prioritize business strategies

  • Demonstrated ability to implement short and long term strategies to support organizational operation and transformation

  • Lead, influence, and collaborate across functions to drive results through formal and informal channels
