Associate Brand Manager, Global Classification: Exempt Position Status: Full Time Reports To:
Senior Brand Manager, Global; Brand Manager, Global Direct Reports: None Role Objectives: To build and support the development and implementation of product strategies to support category objectives, including full marketing programs for Super brands as well as general go-to-market plans and product line architecture for anchor brands.
Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, MBA is a plus. •3-5 years of experience in consumer or brand marketing in a product-driven company. •Understanding of standard marketing techniques. •Be able to present actionable insights to cross functional teams. •Toy experience is preferred. •Efficient with time and the juggling of competing demands; and •Able to work autonomously but is driven by being part of a wider team. Responsibilities: Brand Management •Play an active role in product development, brainstorming sessions and review meetings, with design counterparts, to develop line plans, pricing, and global launch dates to grow the category. •Support and manage the Total Line Plan (TLP) across all markets, while partnering with US TLP manager to recommend a brand roll-up to category leads. •Support leadership team and build 1 st pass of product pricing architecture based on global competitive landscape, including identifying market gaps to develop exclusive product offerings by retailer (starting in the US market), ensuring the offer fits the brand DNA and will meet previously agreed standard margin expectations. •Support global forecast to ensure they align to total brand financial plans including topline, GM and DC% and roll-up to a profitable P&L in the TLP. Demonstrate an understanding of inventory levels and future forecasts to align to S&OP projections. •Drive the seasonal exclusive program with your Lead Market counterpart ensuring item is included in overall line plan and meets margin expectations. •Support the Sr. leadership to liaise with global market to ensure there is a robust go-to-market strategy across the full 360 asset wheel, driving the consumer path-to-purchase.
Assist Sr. leadership in the development of annual brand plans and category development from BDO to product selection, including research requirements and providing current year product performance metrics. Moose also provides flexible working options.
