Position Overview:

The Coca-Cola Freestyle Associate Brand Manager will play a key role to help deliver the objectives of the brand/business and will be responsible for stewarding key marketing and customer strategies to ensure we continue to deliver volume and revenue growth. Candidate should be experienced with and have a passion for marketing. Candidate should have a savvy and entrepreneurial spirit and be comfortable working collaboratively with other teams. A proven ability to drive innovative business solutions and leading internal teams is a must. Brand Marketing experience in CPG and/or food service/QSR is a plus.

Function Specific Activities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify key business priorities and work with cross functional groups to bring the brand's marketing efforts to life in the marketplace

  • Lead national pillar programs in collaboration with brand and asset teams within the company. Ensure pillar programs come to life successfully within our customers and create post program analyses following the conclusion of each program.

  • Work with agency and cross-functional partners to develop marketing programs and supporting materials. Leverage understanding of the path to purchase (consumer journey into the store) to ensure maximum impact of all programs.

  • Understand the brand strategy to inspire our key customers to drive support and acceleration of our programs

  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize consumer insights to drive actionable brand programs.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have (aka Job Requirements)

  • Leadership skills and ability to steward brand initiatives designed to deliver business and brand objectives through the path to purchase (consumer content to in-store execution)

  • Passion for the brand and for the work of brand marketing

  • A foundational but growing understanding of the consumer and retailer needs

  • Ability to collect and synthesize consumer insights into actionable brand implications

  • Growing ability to develop brand strategy based on key insights

  • Analytical skills and ability to use with proficiency the basic syndicated data tools

  • Project management skills, including, but not limited to, budget and timeline management

  • Strong competencies in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

  • Team Orientation and a desire to win as a team

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required; Master's Degree preferred

Related Work Experience

  • Minimum 2 years experience in brand marketing. CPG and/or Food Service experience is ideal.

Technical Skills

  • Syndicated Sources: Knowledge of syndicated sources (e.g., AC Nielsen, IRI, CCT+, Home Scan) used in the analysis of trended consumer and volume dynamics.

  • Marketing Concepts: Knowledge of and ability to apply basic marketing concepts (e.g., brand positioning, brand architecture, SWOT Analysis, competitive assessment, marketing objectives/strategies, consumer segmentation) used in the development of marketing plans.

  • Creative Concept Evaluation: Ability to evaluate creative concepts and executions based on creativity, strategic alignment and consumer impact.

  • Retail Consumer Trends: Ability to interpret consumer trends into actionable marketing programs

  • Financial Analysis: Knowledge of and the ability to use basic financial analysis (e.g., Return on Investment, Value Chain Analysis) related to marketing effectiveness, resource allocations and new business opportunities.

  • Foodservice experience.
