TheAssociate, Brand Content is a vital member of the branding team who worksclosely with departments throughout the organization to improve and grow the

Jewish Alliance's relevance in the marketplace. Primarily, the Associate, BrandContent will assist with the development and implementation of written contentthat enhances the agency's brand and sub-brands across a wide-variety of print,web and social media platforms. The Associate, Brand Content will research, collect,write, edit, and produce material, and work to maintain and improve the qualityof information provided.



  • Work with the branding team to help develop and implement content strategies for a wide variety of purposes including brand awareness, increased engagement, program participation, revenue and philanthropy.

  • Develop a consistent voice that conveys the brand identity for the agency and its sub-brands across multiple platforms through storytelling and written content.

  • Create and manage content for projects throughout the organization that attracts and appeals to defined target groups.

  • Work with the branding team to determine, develop and analyze previously unexplored marketing opportunities for the agency and its sub-brands.


  • Work with the branding team to help develop and implement a consistent brand identity for the agency and its sub-brands across multiple platforms through storytelling and written content.

  • Research and craft compelling written content that strengthens, elevates and clarifies the Alliance brand as well as its sub-brands and drives targeted traffic.

  • Manage written content for a wide variety of departments, topics, and demographic groups.

  • Create consistent brand-focused content for multiple websites, print materials and collaterals, speaking remarks, newsletters, newspaper articles and press releases, direct mail campaigns, blogs, and other needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience with the Alliance's core values and a clear commitment to them.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to set priorities and handle multiple projects. Strong organizational skills.

  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in interviewing, writing, researching, editing, blogging, and storytelling a must.

  • Knowledge of AP guidelines, HTML, WordPress, and SEO preferred.

  • Experience with photography preferred, but not required.

  • Knowledge of Jewish traditions, culture, and holidays strongly preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, public relations, or communications preferred or previous experience in a comparable position, which may include freelance projects.

Interestedcandidates should be prepared to share writing samples upon request.
