Associate Attorney - Insurance Defense

The Fort Myers office of Kubicki Draper seeks an Associate Attorney with 1+ years of insurance defense experience. We are open to candidates outside of Lee/Collier County to work remotely or in one of our other offices. Must reside in the state of Florida. 

Your Day-to-Day:

• Draft and review substantive pleadings and motions, analyze discovery issues, and prepare reports for clients
• Attend court hearings, depositions, meetings with clients, and negotiate settlements.
• Conduct complex legal research and analysis.
• Assist with trial preparation and attend trials.
• Must be proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel
• Communicate in a highly effective manner with colleagues and clients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in Insurance Defense litigation is required.
• Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing, required
• Stellar academic credentials
