Are you an attorney who has a passion for children's advocacy and a desire to learn from the best? Justice for Kids, a national law practice and division of Kelley Kronenberg, is looking for an Associate Attorney to join the team! The Associate will work closely with all Partners on the team to provide legal representation and advice as well as direct advocacy and support for victims of child abuse through strategic litigation.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Read, review, analyze and report on discovery to clients. Conduct legal analyses of issues in claims, requiring knowledge and understanding of applicable case law and statutes. Engage in direct communications via telephone and e-mail with attorneys and clients. Engage in litigation related events including but not limited to depositions, conferences, and hearings.
Required Education and Experience:
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school Florida Bar Admission/Member in Good Standing 2+ years of experience, preferably in Plaintiff Personal Injury or with the State Attorney/Public Defender.
