Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year A bit about us: This will be a REMOTE position however court appearances in Grand Rapids will be required Our client is a well-established yet boutique civil litigation firm out of Grand Rapids and for the past couple of decades, they have been growing their client base throughout Michigan with a focus on commercial and employment litigation.
  
  Currently they are looking for an Associate Attorney who can work remotely most of the time but still be available to attend court in the Grand Rapids area. This is a unique opportunity that can eventually offer equity in the company and potentially a successorship. Why join us?
  
  Generous compensation Comprehensive benefits package Stability and growth potential Remote work with court appearances only Job Details Responsibilities: Assisting businesses to prevent, navigate, and resolve complex legal issues. Conducting depositions and appear before courts Assisting and advising businesses on establishing their company's structure, policies, objectives, and procedures.
  
  Ensuring all relevant laws and outcomes are understood by businesses. Researching and resolving legal disputes through the analysis of relevant laws, argument development, evidence collection, and zealous legal representation. Drafting, reviewing, completing, and filing legal paperwork related to business operations.
  
  Examining and reporting any potential or existing legal issues to the relevant authorities. Negotiating contract terms, transactions, and settlements on behalf of our clients including mergers and acquisitions. Managing multiple clients, cases, and legal activities that carry varying deadlines.
  
  Requirements: 5 years of experience as an employment and commercial litigation attorney. Ability to manage a case from start to finish. Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  
  Ability to communicate effectively with clients and other attorneys. Strong negotiation skills.
  
  Ability to manage multiple cases at one time.
