Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Complex Litigation: Manage and strategize a portfolio of complex litigation cases from inception through trial or settlement.

• Legal Research and Drafting: Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft critical legal documents.

• Active Litigation Participation: Engage in all facets of the litigation process, including depositions, court appearances, and witness preparation.

• Settlement Negotiations: Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations and arbitrations.

• Client Communication: Maintain continuous communication with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

• Licensing: Must be licensed to practice in Louisiana.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience in First-Party Property, General Liability, or similar fields.

• Skills: Strong communication, research, and analytical thinking skills.

• Case Management: Proficient in managing a high-volume caseload.

Responsibilities

• Read, review, analyze and report on all litigation matters to clients.

• Conduct legal analyses of issues in claims, requiring knowledge and understanding of applicable case law and statutes.

• Engage in direct communications via telephone and e-mail with attorneys and clients.

• Engage in litigation related events including but not limited to depositions, conferences, mediations, and court appearances.

• Properly track and record time billed on claim-related tasks on a daily basis, reaching monthly goal following initial training period.
