Description: Associate Attorney – Family Law

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Family Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping clients navigate complex legal matters. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, property issues, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division.

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.

• Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations, and provide strategic guidance throughout their cases.

• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in court hearings and trials.

• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management.

• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

• Stay current on developments in family law and related areas to provide informed and up-to-date counsel to clients.

Qualifications:

• Sense of Humor

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

• Active MD Bar Membership

• Minimum 5 years' experience

• Proven track record of handling family law cases, including litigation experience

• Strong knowledge of Family Law and Legal Research skills

• Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively

• Demonstrated commitment to client service and ethical practice
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Experience with mediation and alternative dispute resolution methods.

• Familiarity with local family court procedures and judges.

• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
