Job Description:

THE OPPORTUNITY/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design all materials for My Big World magazine, including Teacher's Guide, Skills Sheets, and online materials.

  • Assist Early Childhood Art Team members on various other workload deadlines when needed.

  • Occasional participation on special projects.

  • Generate creative ideas and produce top quality layouts, seek out innovative but appropriate photography & illustration talent.

  • High level of technical skill in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, color correcting & retouching, online production.

  • Ability to multi-task and switch between titles / projects with ease. Attend required meetings and communicate effectively.

  • Navigate a challenging team environment to not only problem solve but also to advance design and elevate morale.

  • Listen, accept, and respond to criticism, be able to incorporate feedback into improved solutions.

  • Keen understanding of product mission and customer needs. Be able to quickly adjust visuals to support editorial message.
