SAP Security Associate Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Following the organization's security policies and completing SAP role change process, working with the business and IT leads to implementing the changes to SAP security roles.

• Implement regular security audits and assessments, identify, and mitigate potential risks.

• Ensure compliance with external and internal audit requirements, including SOX and corporate regulations. Document, update, and maintain the Audit Policies.

• Work with production operations teams, to provide SAP security support (including after-hours)

• Providing support on all SAP component security model (ABAP, JAVA, HANA, BTP, Cloud Connector security and other SAP components)

• Closely Work with project teams to integrate security measures into new SAP applications and modules.

• Understanding of SAP security model and configuration in BTP platform

• Play a key point of contact to provide all SAP and system security related issues and support.

• Leading and Providing support in all SAP and infrastructure maintenance activities.

• Coordinate and collaborate with other IT teams to lead the SAP infrastructure, ensuring performance and uptime expected by business stakeholders.

• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to design, configure, and optimize existing security processes, controls, and workflows.

• Assess and address potential security risks and vulnerabilities, devising strategies to mitigate them.

• Drive effective decision-making within the team, including communication of decisions to appropriate partners and working with vendor relationships.

• Recommend the SAP security optimization, enhancements, and upgrades.

• Staying up to date with industry standard methodology, installation of Quality Protocol.

• Deliver training and support to end-users and promote security awareness and best practices

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in SAP security designing, building, and deploying ABAP security, JAVA stack security and HANA Database security.

• Experience in SAP GRC modules (Access Control) is preferred

• Experience in designing, building, testing, and deploying business and support roles with S/4 and Fiori roles.

• Experience in developing solutions for securing custom transactions, tables, and programs.

• Experience in developing and designing SAP BOBJ security model and administration.

• Experience in building and updating Segregation of Duties (SOD) ruleset, AOD (Access on Demand), and performing SOD risk analysis at user and role level.

• Extensive experience with knowledge of SAP Security related tables and programs

• High attention to detail, execute results, analytical and curious mindset.

• Ability to communicate and act as liaison with source and target system team.

• Communicates in a highly effective manner (verbal and written), interpreting complex information and thoughtfully expressing their viewpoint, analysis, or conclusions.

• Ability and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.

• Self-motivated, self-starting and a creative thinker

• Demonstrable ability to identify and implement continuous improvement / process improvement initiatives.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Information Technology
