WHAT YOU'LL DO:
As an Associate for our Americas Benefits team, you'll perform diversified administrative duties for the Benefits Center of Excellence (BCOE) including written and verbal correspondence, Workday inputs, leave and severance entries, creation of benefit newsletters, coordination and scheduling with outside benefit vendors, and other related duties as required. You'll get to work with other members of the BCOE team to leverage support for all US offices.
Create and manage content for monthly Employee Benefits Newsletters
Coordinate the reordering of insurance/benefit ID cards and adding new subscribers for medical, dental and vision with the employee and the outside benefit vendor
Completion of benefit cost calculations for multiple unpaid leaves such as externships, educational, and personal leave of absences. Communicate costs to HR and payroll in a timely manner.
Support team members with drafting certification and documentation for state mandated leave programs
Input LOA entries and tracking within the Workday system and local team updates
Order and send baby and bereavement gifts/flowers across all US offices
Trigger life events and severance extensions within workday
Draft correspondence including memos, benefits verification letters, and benefit verifications for Visas/travel outside the US
Correspond with employee to verify addresses to update with vendors
Submit and track invoicing of benefit vendors
Schedule and coordinate ergonomic assessments for employees and assist with ergonomic equipment ordering
Maintain correspondence of the Regionalbenefits@Bain email box
Support regional organization of health and wellness fairs
Draft content updates on annual forms and Benefits@Bain site
Perform other related duties as requested or as responsibilities dictate
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
A minimum of two years Human Resources experience
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Workday experience is a plus
Ability to work independently and as an integral member of various teams
Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and deal with highly confidential information
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Highly motivated; self-starter, strong customer service focus
Works cooperatively with other team members, strong interpersonal skills
