- Onsite role: * Thousand Oaks, CA* - 8-5
- The candidate for this largely laboratory-based position.
- MS Preferred or Bachelors in life science with some lab experience.
- An ideal candidate should be a highly motivated quick learner with strong backgrounds in molecular & cellular biology and biochemistry.
- Experience with pipetting, perform tissue culture, and familiarity with pharmacology (curve fitting) would be a plus, but are not strictly required.
- Routine execution of MedChem Work Bench (MCWB) biochemical and cell-based assays.
- Routine execution of siRNA screening by RT-qPCR.
- Analyze data in Genedata Screener under senior staff’s supervision and report the data to the assay data warehouse.
- Update project teams with assay results.
- Order, prepare, and/or maintain reagents and consumables needed to perform MCWB assays.
- Maintain cell lines to support genome editing, assay development and assay deliveries.
- 0+ Years w/ Relevant BS OR equivalent 2+ Years w/ Relevant AS OR equivalent 4+ Years w/ HS Foundational knowledge of technical principles, theories, and concepts to perform routine work in a role.
- An ideal candidate should be a highly motivated quick learner with strong backgrounds in molecular & cellular biology and biochemistry.
