Objective: Respond and take action to Tax Levy & Liens correspondents from federal, state and local agencies. Track the process and ensure merchant accounts are appropriately placed on hold and manage the payment processes. Work with accounting department for adjustments. Address any complex situations as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Track tax levy documents as they come in and how they are processed.
Gather merchant data and research recent payments.
Communicate with external parties regarding tax levy or liens.
Prepare requests to accounts payable for external payments.
Advise accounting for adjustments.
Monitor accounts for abnormal activity and review all exceptions reporting.
Participate in projects involving changes to the process.
Develop and document procedures for new processes.
Maintain various balancing roll-forward spreadsheets.

Undergraduate degree in Accounting or related field desired.
0-2 years general business and/or accounting experience desirable. Related industry experience and/or training a plus.
Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
