SUMMARY The Associate Account Manager is an entry level account management role.The Account Manager will develop and mentor the Associate Account Manager to ensure that they execute these duties regularly and with high proficiency: Build key relationships with our customers Meet and exceed Imperial's and our customer's financial goals Lead projects and develop customer business plans that tie to Imperial and account sales strategies Determine In store execution priorities that support Imperial and customer business plans Responsibilities Include:

Support the Account Manager in developing and executing sales, merchandising, and category plans Perform store inspections to ensure adherence to Imperial's Service Excellence standards. Assist in the evaluation and selection of qualified candidates; Execute and monitor training plan; Evaluate trainees; Conduct meetings with direct reports on a regular basis. Maintain in-store service levels to acceptable standards; Ensure store service schedules are adhered to; Assist with store service as needed.

Conduct in-person coaching trips with direct reports. Participate in merchandising tasks associated with remodels, new store set-ups, existing store updates, and annual category resets in assigned area. Ability to read and implement planograms.

Control expenses within budget guidelines; Monitor and approve mileage, expense reports, and time keeping records; Ensure timely completion of all related paperwork. Review daily service reports from SSR's for designated customers/stores. Build relationships with store management and corporate teams to maximize sales opportunities; Assure customer satisfaction with Imperial.

Work with Imperial procurement and customer service to insure flawless flow of goods management for new item launches, reserved goods, seasonal items, category resets, new store openings, and disposition plans for delisted SKUs. Check and approve Payroll and Expense Reports weekly Other duties as requested Qualifications Four year degree required (work related experience will be considered in place of formal degree) 2-5 years sales and merchandising experience with GM (general merchandise) and HBC (Health and Beauty Care) product categories 2-5 years of Account Management, Retail Sales Management, Category or Sales Analyst or Operations Management in experience in a retail environment Related Retail/Supermarket service experience or related store/route sales experience a plus.
