The Associate Account Manager provides overall day-to-day client service and support to ensure the effective execution of marketing campaigns and internal client projects.
The position encompasses administration, project tracking duties and research. Co-leads internal and client teams on small to medium sized projects. Scope Plays support role on specified accounts.
Main focus is learning the ropes of agency life, gaining exposure to and experience in various disciplines including strategy, creative development, art production, digital development and billing. In this role, written communication skills will be honed - through the management of team status reports and creation of job starts and client recaps as well as attention to detail - through the routing and proofreading of client-facing assets. Typically supports Sr.
Account Manager and/or Director on accounts. Number of accounts assigned may vary depending on size of accounts, ability and capacity. Reporting and Working Relationships Reports directly to Senior Account Manager or Account Director.
Will interact frequently with all levels of clients. Works directly with internal creative team and project management. May work with Technology team(s) as needed.
Primary Responsibilities 25% Problem Solving and Selling Value: Collaborates with account and creative team to develop and execute marketing strategy for accounts by gathering details related to client's challenges and needs. Creates value-add by researching industry trends, competitor information and other insights to drive value. 40% Relationship and Account Management:
Maintains day-to-day internal contact and works closely with internal team members to ensure program communication objectives are executed. Acts as team leader, communicates program requirements to creative team; works closely with all internal departments and personnel to exceed client requirements and objectives. Develops internal relationships and participates on client reviews in coordination with account or project management. 35% Account Management:
Works closely with account and creative teams to develop creative solutions. Maintains ongoing relationships with internal client contacts to assist through the development and execution of creative campaigns. Collaborates with the Maritz project management team to ensure day-to-day operations are occurring as intended and agreed upon.
Qualifications 1. Bachelors degree in marketing, communications or business required 2. 0-2 years of creative agency experience 3. Ability to lead internal teams 4.
Build relationships with internal team members and internal clients, advocating both for the brand and the agency 5. Willingness to learn all aspects of the business 6. Must have active listening skills 7.
