The Associate Account Executive is responsible for working directly with current Account Executives and supporting sales and services to new customers. This role will assist in building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers that lead to future business opportunities. This position will also work to expand existing accounts by selling new product offerings and/or extending relationships into new areas within an account. In this role, this position will provide post sales implementation support through administrative follow-up, clinical in-servicing, and continuing education for health care team members. This role will work closely with the Area Vice President and the Director of Sales Enablement to prioritize sales / clinical activities and travel in order to drive results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned:
Communication and organizational ability is paramount. This position is located in field and receives assignments in the form of objectives and established goals to meet these objectives. Work is reviewed and measured based on meeting these objectives.
Responsibilities include sales and training of various Hill-Rom respiratory devices including the Vest , MetaNeb, VisiVest, Monarch and VitalCough.
Act as a regional partner with current Account Executives and work closely to assist with order workflow and follow-up to drive customer satisfaction and sales results.
Other responsibilities include public speaking at local, state and national meetings to present learning opportunities for Respiratory Therapists, registered nurses and physicians.
Expectation is that this individual will progress quickly and master the necessary skills-sets that allows for a transition to Account Executive whenever a position becomes available.
Must be willing to re-locate at request of company in order to fill open territories.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Undergraduate degree required with a BS / BA preferred.
Sales Experience 1-2 years a plus in Healthcare or Business to Business
Respiratory therapist background with 2 or more years of experience in the clinical arena is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills along with public speaking experience required.
Must be able to work independently, utilize strong analytical skills, and problem solve.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with team members, customers, and internal - external employees at all levels.
Knowledge of all Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint
This is a home-based position with a minimum of 25-50% travel including some nights and weekends.
Driving requirements dictate that the candidate possess and maintain a valid driver license and be at least 21 years old.
