The Associate Account Executive extends the reach and contact frequency with referring physician community in coordination with the Account Executive's sales efforts to grow new patient volume. This role will work closely with an Account Executive, Operations, and marketing resources to identify physician referral opportunities and channels, develop and grow long-term productive relationships with the referring community increasing new patient volume and market share within a defined territory.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Works in conjunction with the Account Executive and leadership team to establish territory and customer plans that will deliver on target new patient growth measured by the territory volume and revenue commitments.
Gains an understanding of local market dynamics, trends, analyzes market account referral patterns, monitors variances/trends associated with existing referral base and coordinates with operations and physician leadership to determine possible causes for changes in referral patterns as well as build and execute on a tactical plan to grow volume and market share; provides accurate volume forecasts to Operations.
Collaborates fully with the Account Executive in managing territory to prospect and target new referral sources and maintain existing referral sources based on market trends and conditions; utilizes consultative selling skill in order to engage new referrers and probes potential referrer to uncover competitive takeaways based on unmet needs. Provides market intelligence to internal team (Operations, Account Executive, Providers).
Cultivates strong relationships with top strategic referrers to increase volume; identify key customer decision criteria. Ensures that customer's needs are met and communicates any service deficiencies to the Account Executive and Operations Team to ensure existing volume is preserved.
Working in conjunction with the Account Executive, the local Site Leader and Marketing Team, effectively utilizing and suggesting needed collateral and education materials. Demonstrates excellent teamwork within the entire market, sharing best practices, committing to the success of the market as a whole.
Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Medical office and/or healthcare experience required.
Interventional/pain management experience preferred.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
