The Associate Manager, Shopper Marketing will assist the Manager, Shopper Marketing - Regional Retailers with the development and implementation of shopper marketing programs for the Social Expressions Category for our Retail Partners. This is a headquarter-based position with limited travel required.
The Associate Manager will primarily be responsible for leveraging the Marketing Asset Portal (MAP) to execute Shopper Marketing programs for regional retailers.
The Associate Manager will also assist with the management of the (MAP), ensuring that relevant, effective assets are requested, created and uploaded in a timely manner. This includes assisting with MAP communications and training materials and the evaluation of asset usage to ensure a continuous improvement approach to content development.
The Manager is an energetic, highly collaborative and organized individual with knowledge of how to apply shopper marketing strategies and tactics along the shopper journey. The Manager has strong communication and budget management skills, as well as a spirit of continuous improvement to deliver superior results to their both internal and external partners and eliminating ineffective efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contributes to the development, production and implementation of the approved Omni-channel marketing plan (out of store, in store, print and digital advertising, engagement/social marketing, promotions, direct marketing, event marketing, loyalty marketing) in support of multiple regional retailers in multiple channels of distribution to drive traffic and sales in the greeting card department.
Manages activation of programs for key retailers, including but not limited to: coupon creation, art asset requests, signage ordering, and working with internal and external resources to ensure all programs are completed on time and within the approved budget.
Utilizes the American Greetings Marketing Asset Portal as a tool to facilitate retailer requests.
Analyzes retailer co-op earnings and generates annual marketing reserve agreements to these retailers for approval to implement their annual marketing plan.
Assists with campaign reporting
Assists with activities that ensure the MAP process is efficient and on schedule as needed.
Other/additional duties and projects as required.
