About the Position:

Based out of our New York Corporate Offices, the Associate Manager Product Management, E-commerce (APM) is responsible for assisting in the strategic evolution of AnnTaylor.com, LOFT.com, LouandGrey.com, Anntaylorfactory.com and LOFTOutlet.com web and mobile experiences.

The ideal candidate is a recent college graduate or an experienced professional looking to transition into digital product management. This person will be highly analytical, supporting the Product team in developing and analyzing e-commerce reporting, assessing business impact of e-commerce enhancements, interpreting results from A/B tests, and gathering qualitative insights from user testing and customer feedback. In this role, it is imperative that candidates are not only able to analyze the data, but also communicate their interpretations effectively with our Product Managers, cross-functional teams, and business leaders.

This position will also support the Product Management team in developing our e-commerce and omni-channel roadmap. This will include executing competitive benchmarking, industry research, working with UX designers to create wireframes, user flows, writing user stories to launch features with engineering teams. The APM is responsible for setting expectations with business stakeholders by tracking priorities and communicating project scope and timelines on a continual basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a client advocate, ensuring the best possible digital user experiences.

  • Support Product Managers in working with cross-functional business partners and teams to identify new feature sets or technology and assist in developing business plans to achieve goals.

  • Assist in the operations of the ongoing e-commerce and omni-channel product roadmap, including the management of timelines and communication of scope to stakeholders

  • Continuously research our competitive set and broader digital retail landscape trends to identify new business opportunities for the Product Management team to pursue

  • Support Product Managers in development of key business documents such as UX comps, detailed functional specifications, business rules, use cases, and user flows.

  • Assist in managing the A/B testing roadmap, which includes test planning, scheduling, prioritization, requirements writing, comp development, test execution and analysis.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in a related field of study, required

  • 1-3 years of experience within the digital and/or ecommerce space

  • Experience with Agile, working closely with engineering, QA, UX and analytics teams to launch and optimize site features

  • Comfortable working with JIRA, Slack, Google Docs, MS Office

  • Prior experience with analytics tools i.e. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics

  • Able to analyze both qualitative and quantitative data and can effectively communicate insights with stakeholders who may have little understanding of subject matter

  • Able to proactively problem-solve and prioritize in a fast-paced environment (bias towards action)

  • Eager to learn and comfortable undertaking new challenges

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Willing to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including Development and QA, Marketing, Merchandising, Procurement, Finance, CRM, Client Insights, etc.

  • SEO knowledge and Past experience with A/B testing, Usability Testing, User Experience a plus
