The Corporate Development Team in the Global Licensing and Entertainment Partnerships Group defines and drives Mattel's key strategic initiatives in high-impact areas such as in-licensing acquisitions, strategic partnerships, new business models and emerging market expansion. The group partners with senior management at both the corporate and divisional level, leading high profile cross-functional teams to achieve high level results.
We are currently seeking an Associate Manager, Corporate Development to join our growing team.

Collaborate with licensing teams to create opportunities, validate strategic rationale and refine financial propositions
Provide quantitative, qualitative, and analytical support for partnership deals and strategic initiatives
Engage and support teams across a range of offices to understand business proposals and reconcile gaps with standard deal structures.
In addition, support Strategic Development team in analyzing, evaluating and negotiating in-bound licensing, and co-production agreements.
When appropriate, engage external parties on behalf of Mattel.
Build complex Excel valuation models
Develop partnership and acquisitions pitches, mobilize internal resources, justify partnership structure and create financial metrics.
Develop innovative deal structures to address partnership sensitivies while protecting Mattel short and long-term interests
Present findings to various teams including Marketing, Finance and Corporate Leadership
Prepare materials for discussion and review at the executive (CEO, CFO, COO) level, as appropriate.
