Moody's Analytics is seeking an experienced account manager with a highly technical skillset to help lead client engagements for the new Moody's Add-in for Excel. The successful candidate will be comfortable developing relationships with key decision makers and managing a large book of accounts to drive the installation and adoption of the Excel Add In. A familiarity with Moody's role within capital markets, financial statement analysis, and strong Excel skills are essential.

The Associate Engagement Manager role presents a unique opportunity to be involved with a large number of teams within Moody's Analytics. The engagement team sits within product strategy at MA, but also requires consistent interactions with sales teams, product developers, and other internal stakeholders. Engagement managers will gain a broad understanding of different teams within MA and leverage that knowledge to improve the product and build strong relationships between MA and its customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the needs of a large book of accounts for a designated territory in the US/Canada; includes managing all activities from software installation, demos and training to custom project work and solutions

  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for new and existing customers

  • Create custom Excel models using Moody's data delivered through the Excel Add-in

  • Play a key role in future development of the Excel Add-in by collecting customer feedback for product development teams


  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, or other financial services-related discipline

  • 2 years of account management experience in financial services, preferably at a major market data provider, bank, or consulting firm

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on the customer and getting results

  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and presentation skills

  • Strong interest in fixed income, credit ratings and fundamental credit analysis; CFA candidate preferred

  • Advanced Excel skills (VBA a plus); Experience with Excel Add Ins and market data preferred

  • This role requires up to 25% travel

The Senior Director/Vice President guides content strategy in this department, including SiriusXM's social media, newsletter and content marketing strategies. The Senior Director/Vice President uses free content to market SiriusXM across various trackable off-platform and online streams, determining where and how digital content makes sense in the SiriusXM sales flow, from digital advertising to landing and sales pages. Duties and Responsibilities: * Lead strategy and execution of owned digital content. This includes site content on the homepage and channel pages, the Hear + Now SiriusXM blog, SiriusXM social media properties, and SiriusXM's YouTube page. * Improve the way in which SiriusXM content shared off-platform is connected to the SiriusXM subscriber experience. This includes funneling online consumers of sampled SiriusXM content into SiriusXM-owned app and web experiences, and designing ways to remarket to prospects who have interacted with SiriusXM content. * Work effectively with other groups in programming, marketing and technology to surface relevant content to SiriusXM audiences, including subscribers, trailers and prospects. Manage the delivery of quality/relevant content to digital experience, product marketing, marketing campaigns, services and brand, and media teams. * Manage marketing's day-to-day content relationship with programming, and manage programming inputs on marketing's cross-functional calendar. * Work with programming and marketing groups to represent content priorities in SiriusXM marketing streams. Work with video group to guide digital content coverage of programming events, channel launches and high-profile interviews. * Advise programming groups on best practices for social media distribution and online-exclusive audio. * Work with measurement and strategy group to communicate key digital metrics to programming. * Work with programming and marketing groups on the programming and development of the SiriusXM Hear & Now newsletter, and in general, SiriusXM's content email strategy. Optimize blog coverage to fulfill the newsletter, and for social media and SEO purposes. * Work with the SiriusXM streaming group to improve the curated listening experiences within the SiriusXM app. * Collaborate with external organizations on digital, audio and social media partnerships. * Measure success against predefined goals and KPIs. Supervisory Responsibilities: * This role will supervise a team of 2-3 direct reports as well as a number of indirect reports. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant experience. * 10+ years in digital and social media;15+ years required to be considered for VP. * 2-5 years of managerial experience overseeing the strategy of a content team. * Comparable/related industry experience preferred. Requirements and General Skills: * Proven track record of using excellent judgment to determine which content should be prioritized. * Familiar with marketing KPIs, reporting, analysis and related budgetary processes. * Familiarity with social media analytics, reporting and analysis. * Familiarity with e-mail newsletter analytics. * Ability to embrace and learn internal project management tools and systems. * Strong interpersonal capabilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Well-organized, detail-oriented, energetic, independent and responsive to feedback. * Ability to manage multiple projects and constituencies.. * Ability to work under deadline. * Ability to prioritize initiatives and make effective decisions. * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and in a team environment. * Commitment to "internal client" and customer service principles. * Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects. * Must have legal right to work in the U.S. Technical Skills: * Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). * Solid experience with a wide variety of social media platforms and related analytics tools required. * Experience in a content management system a plus.
