This Assoc Director, Strategic National Accounts is responsible for identifying product line specific selling opportunities by working with: 1) Centralized purchasing functions 2) Our existing channel including distribution and dealer/contractor base & 3) Internal functions at Carrier finance, legal, product marketing, marketing, HR Candidate will be responsible for managing the sales efforts for four verticals of national Accounts: Single Family Homebuilders, Multi-Family new construction and retrofit, Retail, and Direct business consisting of Home Warranty, Climate Controlled Storage and Military. Demonstrated ability to maintain, develop and execute strategic account plans with National Account team members, and to lead National Account Managers in pursuit of all verticals.
Lead and manage the National Account sales team, inside sales and programs
Generate revenue and profit via the sale of Carrier Corporation branded products across all verticals
Ability to develop growth strategies for all four verticals to grow Carrier share in each segment and keeping the distribution channel engaged of the strategy
Strong ability to work across the internal organization to ensure alignment with legal, finance, pricing, marketing and product teams
Ability to build consultative relationships with strategic partners, and coach team members on how to better build those relationships
Develop and execute marketing strategy for all verticals to better connect with our customers
Build the long term strategy for each vertical and implement the short term strategy needed
Develop strategy for builder vertical to leverage higher tier products
Work across Business Units to include Replacement Components, Ductless, Thermostats and Home Automation in all customer discussions
Maintain a strong working knowledge of Carrier Corporation product line, including all brands
Monitor industry and home building, retail and other trends, market shifts, and competitive offering/approach
