Job Description:

The LP:

  • Builds and sustains relationships with key business stakeholders, serving as a true partner to the business

  • Conducts performance analyses and root cause analyses, analyzes systems, gathers data, and selects appropriate solutions (learning or otherwise) to achieve performance goals

  • Develops an annual budget and demand plan, partnering with internal and external resources, as appropriate

  • Evaluates results against organizational goals, adapting and refining learning plans, as needed
    1.Serve as strategic partner and learning advisor to Corporate Functions globally. Cultivate deep business knowledge to inform learning strategy.
    2.Assess learning needs and devise flexible, scalable solutions to create demonstrable business impact. Measure and report results and adapt as necessary.
    3.Partner with subject matter experts and resources, both internally (e.g.; Global Learning, CLS, etc) and externally (e.g.; vendors, etc), to implement and deploy learning solutions. Prioritizes work based on business needs.
    4.Oversees learning content for area of responsibility. Manages Assignment Profiles and curricula, driving consistency across sites and functions.
    5.Provide administrative oversight, manage budgets and timelines and ensure adherence to all relevant policies and SOPs; may manage or mentor junior staff

Qualifications

  • Executive presence: gravitas

  • High performing individual with business acumen, performance consulting experience, learning expertise, and a demonstrated ability to successfully design, implement, and evaluate programs.

  • Ability to roll-up sleeves and get things done; have a results driven mindset

  • Aptitude to work independently and across matrix organization; influence without authority

  • Strong sense of organizational awareness and ability to navigate complex and highly matrixed environments

  • Able to build consensus and create collaborative relationships

  • Creative problem solver with high level of initiative and sense of personal accountability

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to quickly establish credibility with business leaders

  • Demonstrated strong management, leadership, coaching expertise

  • 5- 7 years in a related role

  • Be a proven thought partner to the business

Biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred

Education

Masters or doctorate in Business, Learning, Psychology or related field (or equivalent experience) or BA/BS Degree with sufficient experience. Consultancy experience is required.
