The Associate Director, Givosiran Global Marketing will drive the Global Brand Activities directed at healthcare professionals, for Givosiran, an investigational product for the treatment Acute Hepatic Porphyria (AHP). This is a highly visible role and this individual will set the stage for successful commercialization and future growth of the Givosiran global commercial team.
The position will report to the Senior Director, Givosiran Global Brand Marketing and will be located in Cambridge, MA.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the plan for patient finding initiatives.
Partner with regional marketing teams to optimize the Givosiran global brand campaign and message, as well as ensure global brand consistency.
Support global launch preparation and facilitate sharing of best practices for local implementation of brand strategies to ensure local launch success.
Drive the development and execution of a global disease education strategic framework and core materials.
Align with the digital center of excellence to ensure strategic coordination across the brand and digital strategies.
Cross-functional leadership of global congress strategy, KOL mapping, and ad board plan with execution of global-led congresses and ad-boards.
Establish strong relationships and develop collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders in the field of AHP.
Align with corporate communications to ensure strategic coordination across the global brand and corporate communication strategies.
Effective management of global marketing agencies and operational budget.
Partner with key internal stakeholders and regions (medical affairs, regional marketing, launch excellence, customer insights, training, market access, legal and regulatory) to ensure alignment across functions and flawless, compliant execution.
BS/BA degree (science degree preferred) with a minimum of 8 years in the biotech industry.
7 years of proven experience in professional marketing and/or brand planning/marketing.
Launch experience and commercialization of new products preferred.
In-line brand management experience required.
Global and local marketing experience preferred.
Experience in rare disease strongly preferred.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Proven ability to influence without authority and work with cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of brand strategic imperatives.
Proven ability in managing external agencies and vendors
Proven Project / Program Management experience.
