Job Description

General Summary:

This position contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by providing general administrative support for the location, Unit Sales Manager, Market Director.

Major Tasks, Key Responsibilites and Key Accountabilities:

  • Administrative support to the selling and delivery team

  • Run various reports for market and Market Director as necessary

  • Create PowerPoint Presentations, Excel Spreadsheets

  • Coordinate travel plans and reconcile T&E

  • Coordinate meetings and agendas as needed

  • Inventory/manage all electronic devices such as cell phones and iPads

  • Inventory / Track Coupons

  • General office duties

  • Assistance with special assignments as requested

  • Backfill of administrative co-workers when necessary

Your Talent & Gallo | A Perfect Pairing As a Public Relations Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating projects and providing administrative and staff support to the fine wine public relations department. What You Will Do * Creates a calendar in MS Outlook identifying wine competitions for the year; develops a wine send plan for the year and tracks against that schedule. * Creates required product estimates for wine competitions and wine sends; tracks actual budget numbers against the estimates. * Creates budget reports for department management to evaluate. * Coordinates the shipping of collateral materials ensuring timely arrival. * Updates the editorial calendar; sends related materials to identified personnel. * Updates technical data and approval spreadsheet for newly press-approved wines. * Refreshes and maintains brand contracts as required. * Provides general administrative support to team including preparation of presentations, creation of spokesperson training materials, press event materials, downloading bottle shots, press kits for wine writers, loading thumb drives, etc. * Processes daily Ad Hoc wine shipment requests. * Updates the media monitoring system database when required; re-tools lists and creates projects around wine sends to these lists. * Provides regular maintenance to media database, editorial calendars, and email campaigns. * Ensures the upkeep of the press room Library on * Provides support to budget preparation, billing, invoice coding and control activities. * Participates and coordinates special projects. What You Will Need * High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate. * Bachelor's degree; or 4 years of office administration, public relations support, or sales support experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. * Skilled in the use of MS Outlook, MS Excel MS Word and MS PowerPoint at an intermediate level. * Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. * Skilled in writing simple correspondence. * Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers. What Will Set You Apart * Experience leading small to medium sized projects. * Experience effectively presenting and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, students and the general public. * Experience reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. * Experience writing routine reports and correspondence. * Skilled in the use of MS Suite at an advanced level. * Experience calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and area. * Experience solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. * Experience interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
