Shift: Evenings: 2:30pm - 10:45pm

Every other weekend, every other holiday

Compensation: $31.50/hour

Shift differential and pick-up pay offered!

Position Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to nursing personnel

• Maintains accurate and complete resident medical record documentation

• Accurately prepares and administers medications and treatments to assigned residents according to physician orders and nursing procedures

• Completes incident reports and medication error reports and reports to the Charge Nurse

• Participates in shift report and assists in organizing care assignments

• Provides assistance and supervision to the Nursing Assistants

• Responsible for directing, delivering, and evaluating the quality of care provided by all team members

• Responds immediately to emergency situations

• Reports any concerns/problems or discrepancies to the Charge Nurse

• Participates in providing restorative care for residents

• Participates in survey inspections

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Indiana - will accept applicants scheduled to take the Indiana Nursing Board

• Desire to work with geriatric population

• Long-term care experience preferred

• Willingness to work in a team atmosphere
