Job Summary
The University of Colorado Boulder Athletics Department encourages applications for an Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach! The purpose of this position is to assist the head coach in all aspects of the continued development of the Colorado Women's Lacrosse Program. The position holds significant responsibilities in player development, scouting, development of the draw unit, practice planning, and administrative work with the other departments that play an integral role in the lacrosse programs' success (i.e. compliance, marketing, etc.). Depending on the coach's expertise they will hold significant role in coordination of our defensive or offensive systems along side our staff. Lastly, this position will have a large focus on recruiting - attending recruiting events throughout the year and evaluating potential recruits, building relationships with club and high school coaches, planning and hosting recruits on campus.
This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program. This shall include adhering to the principles of the Athletic Department's Mission Statement, Diversity and Inclusion Mission Statement, Core Values, Policies and Procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the Conference and the NCAA.

What We Can Offer
Starting salary range is $60,000 - $62,5000.
Additional Compensation Details:
Relocation is available within department guidelines.

What We Require
Bachelor's degree.
Previous coaching and/or playing experience at college level or high school level thru club team, camps/clinics, etc.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
What You Will Need
Must have outstanding technical, tactical and strategic knowledge of lacrosse. Proficiency in either the offensive or defensive end.
Strong leadership, interpersonal and communications skills, including the ability to work with and relate well to a diverse group of athletes, administrators, and University constituents, needed.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and web applications.
Basic video filming, editing and analytical ability.
What We Would Like You to Have
Division I lacrosse coaching experience.
Former lacrosse student-athlete.
Experience competing on a US National Team or top collegiate team.
Knowledge of NCAA regulations.
