Job Summary

NOVA Academy is looking for a part-time walk-on assistant coach for Cross-country. This position is hourly for approximately 16 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

Pre-season practices begin on July 1st. Practices will move to after-school (2:30-4:30 pm) on August 12th. Occasional weekends and evenings may be required. NOVA pays on the 10th and the 25th of each month.

Requirements / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of coaching and cross-country experience. Successful experience coaching or working with high schools students is a must.

Bilingual candidates (English and Spanish) are highly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate must be willing to pass a criminal background check, possess a valid California driver's license, valid CPR/AED/First Aid certification, and a negative TB Risk Assessment or TB test prior to the first day of employment.
