Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing executive leadership for Patient Care Services assuring the provision of quality, productive, cost-effective care for Patient Care Services clinical and business operations and serves as exemplar and role model for fundamental leadership principles, marketing, innovation, change management, and communication.

Essential Job Function

• Budgeting, resource utilization and human resource management functions of assigned areas 24/7.

• Development and alignment of the strategic plan for Patient Care Services in conjunction with CNE, CMO, CAO, and ACNO, VP and participates in strategic development activities for Service Lines and for organization.

• Collaborates and consults with executives, team members, department heads and physician leaders to develop and execute strategic plan for Nursing and Patient Care Services.

• Assures all actions are consistent with the Mission of organization, its Vision and Values. Interacts with governing board members as required.

Education, Training, and Experience

• Masters Degree required in any health related field.

• Experience: Eight to ten years of experience in progressively responsible leadership positions. Three to five years of clinical experience.

Required Licenses, Certifications

Current Registered Nursing License with Georgia Board of Nursing or Current Enhanced Nurse License Compact (eNLC).
